Welcome New Atlas Members & BCAP Volunteers!
Atlas is excited to welcome our newest members to the program!
Since 2007, Atlas has been bringing together volunteers to help promote HIV awareness & prevention locally.
Atlas members increase their knowledge about HIV, help design program initiatives, participate in group activities, & raise awareness at community events!

Deep Relaxation
Life can get pretty crazy and hectic, but it's important to take the time to slow down every once in a while to relax and re-center ourselves and our intentions. We Love Atlas Members & BCAP Volunteers!
Every year, Boulder County AIDS Project takes time to celebrate the Agency’s volunteers, including our wonderful Atlas members! From volunteering at the front desk, to attending social mixers, to providing outreach education at community events, and making our annual shows and Pride events, thank you ALL to your invaluable time and efforts that you provide for HIV awareness! Thank you for being involved!

Feeling Proud at Boulder Pridefest
Last weekend Atlas members got a chance to celebrate Boulder Pride with Out Boulder County! Members helped pass out safer sex supplies, educated attendees about HIV awareness and risk reduction, and provided free HIV testing. Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate pride, updating your HIV status, and joining us in this year's festivities! Special thanks for Out Boulder County for continuing to host such a successful and important event for our community!

Stigma + HIV Workshop
Last week Atlas members got together and had a conversational workshop on stigma and HIV led by Barb Cardell. Folks shared their everyday challenges around stigma as well as the institutional and larger problems facing communities disproportionately impacted by HIV. Most importantly we talked about ways we all can interrupt the “stigma swirl” by educating friends and family about HIV. Interested in getting involved?
